I saw this Zoobic Safari Night Safari promo at MetroDeal and told the boyfie about it.
We first searched for a place we could stay in (Aotriz Inn) and then we availed it then paid for it. I was so excited and at the same time nervous because it's my first time to go that far without telling my mom where I'd really go and it's just the two of us. Setting worries aside, he'd tell me, "Andito naman ako, iuuwi kita ng safe sa inyo". I just trusted his words and enjoyed the ride.
So around 9am, i think, we met and then we first went to his friend's house to get his itouch and then headed to the terminal. We paid around P200 one way to Zambales but we had a stop over at Dau.
So here's whwere we stayed @ Aotriz Apartments, fully furnished.
#11 Longroad, Gordon Heights Olongapo City
Tel. No.: (047) 222-5713
Cell No.: 09175532331
We paid P950.00, overnight rate.

I'm such a praning kind of person. Without him i'd be lost. We finally found our way out of the residential area via color-coded jeepneys. We rode an avanza up the mountain to Zoobic and it costed us P400, fixed price, one-way. The drivers have a readily written somewhat like a calling card so we can contact him to take us back down the mount. Because there are no cabs up there. We paid P500 on the way back, of course plus his cost going up.
So finally, ZOOBIC SAFARIIIII!!!
Our tour started around 6PM. We were grouped together with the other families.

we rode this shuttle that took us to the different attractions around the mountain. |

The tour guide said that 3 tigers can turn our shuttle down. BTW, we paid 50 pesos each for one whole chicken feed.

MY HUMPS, MY HUMPS :) |
One of my fave part is this GREYHOUND WALK, where these friendly dogs guide us through the dark forest. I'm blind in the dark, so thanks to these fellas.
There was also this man-made caves...
the finale of the night is the performance which includes the pared of the animals, drums and poi dance of the natives, that light dance performance.
It's one for the books!
after the performance,. we contacted the driver to fetch us.
We had takeouts. We almost got lost going back to the apartment. We walked up the mountain, since it's late already and there were no jeeps anymore. it was very tiring. Finally, we saw and hailed a trike and then sabi namin, purok ganyan, we had the land lady on the phone so she can instruct us the way. We said purok 9, and the trike said there's like upper purok 9 and lower purok 9. wtf?
Since we're already in Subic, I told him i wanted to hit the beach. We asked where the nearest beach is. We took the blue jeep going to the beach. He was not feeling well that time and so I was the only one who took a dip. we didn't stay long tho, because we have to get back to manila early, and go to the terminal early.
Got ourselves a henna tattoo. Mine is a spider I named, Phobia
the dreamcatcher i bought last night at Zoobic Safari as souvenir for P100 |

Thank God we came home safe. Thanks to him. He's staying then in Navotas still.
